Ignition Lock Cylinder

Ignition Lock Cylinder Assembly:

Ignition Lock Retainer (Key Unavailable):

Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Air bag fuse.
3. Lower left insulator panel (3) screws.
4. Disconnect 2-way yellow SIR connectors (2).
5. Tilt lever.
6. Upper and lower steering column trim cover.
7. Turn lock cylinder to run position.
8. Push against locking button on back side of bearing and housing assembly and remove lock cylinder.

Install or Connect

1. Lock cylinder to housing assembly.

NOTICE: Rotate the lock cylinder to the "RUN" position. Depress the lock cylinder button. Gently push the lock cylinder into place while rotating the key approximately 5 degrees in the counter-clockwise direction.

2. Upper and lower column cover (3) torx screws.
3. Tilt lever.
4. Connect 2-way yellow SIR connections (2).
5. Lower left insulator panel (3) screws.
6. Air bag fuse.
7. Negative battery cable.
