Recall 96V119000: Turn Signals Do Not Self-Cancel

These vehicles were assembled with turn signal switches that may not self-cancel by steering wheel rotation after a left turn. This does not comply with requirements of FMVSS No. 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment." See note. See note.

NOTE: the manufacturer's petition which requested that NHTSA determine this FMVSS non-compliance does not create an unreasonable risk to motor vehicle safety has been granted. Therefore, the manufacturer is not obligated to conduct an owner notification and remedy campaign.
