General Description

The Antilock Braking System/Enhanced Traction System (ABS/ETS) consists of a conventional hydraulic brake system plus antilock components. The conventional brake system includes a vacuum power booster, master cylinder, front disc brakes, rear disc or drum brakes, interconnecting hydraulic brake lines, brake fluid level sensor, and a red BRAKE warning indicator.





The ABS components include a brake modulator/motor pack assembly, an Electronic Brake Control Module/Electronic Brake Traction Control Module (EBCM/EBTCM), a system enable relay, four wheel speed sensors (one at each wheel), interconnecting wiring, an amber ABS warning indicator and a amber ABS active indicator.
