Heated Backlight Antenna

The Heated Backlight Antenna (HBA) uses the existing Rear Defogger heating grid with the addition of two vertical lines and two separate lines above the grid. FM radio signals are received with the rear defogger grid and the vertical lines. The vertical lines are used for FM impedance matching and will not affect rear defogger operation. AM signals are received through the horizontal lines which are separate from the grid to reduce noise and will not heat.
