Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. If PASS-Key (R) III system is intermittent, check that the PASS-Key (R) III module connector is tight and terminals are clean.
2. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
3. Make sure G202 is clean and tight.
4. If the vehicle cranks, the problem is not in the PASS-Key (R) III system.
5. Check for and troubleshoot all other system Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) prior to PASS-Key (R) III system diagnosis.
6. Three sets of trouble analysis charts follow:

^ Diagnostic System Check for PASS-Key (R) III non-DTC related problems
