Tune Control
The tuning control is a continuous rotary knob with 20 detents per revolution. This is a pop out knob on Oldsmobile. Tuning of the receiver is accomplished by turning the control in the desired direction. Clockwise turning increases the frequency while counterclockwise decreases the frequency. Frequency is increased or decreased by one channel per detent.Adjusting the tuning control will stop the SEEK and SCAN functions. Tuning will then continue from the frequency that the receiver was at when the function was stopped. The tuning function is replicated on the steering wheel controls with separate TUNE buttons (when equipped).
