Setting Memory
Seat motor position sensors are used to "remember" the seat position. These sensors are potentiometers linked to the seat motors. As the seat motors turn, the potentiometer resistance is varied. The seat position is determined by the sensor voltage level for the existing seat position seen by the Memory Seat Module
(MSM). If one of the memory buttons is pushed and held for at least three seconds, the sensor voltage level is stored to "remember" the seat position for that switch (DRIVER 1/2 or EXIT 1/2).
