Troubleshooting Hints - Lumbar Seats
PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS1. Check Rear Power Distribution Center PWRSEAT Circuit Breaker for continuity.
2. Check ORN (CKT 1340) wiring for an open or short to ground.
3. Make sure G201 is clean and tight.
4. Check that connector C309 and connectors to RH (C317) and LH (C318) Seat motors are firmly mated.
5. Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminal connections.
6. Check for broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause a system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
7. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
