Driver Identifier Messages

The Driver Information Center may be used to indicate the current driver # of the vehicle. This information is displayed each ignition cycle and is tied into the personalization of the vehicle. Actual customer names can be programmed into the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) to appear in the driver # display for added convenience. A list of messages follows. A complete list of messages with an analysis is provided in the diagnostic portion.. An export ID# will accompany the driver identifier messages for non_U.S. vehicles:

^ UNKNOWN DRIVER

Driver identifier messages, when active, cannot be removed from the display. Driver identifier displays cannot be superseded by any other messages.
