Rear Hub and Bearing

REAR HUB/BEARING





REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Raise vehicle.
2. Wheel and tire.
3. Two bolts and brake caliper. Support caliper.
4. Brake rotor.
5. ABS sensor wire connector.
6. Four bolts, hub and bearing and brake shield from control arm.
^ Clean control arm face and bore before installing hub and bearing.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Brake shield and hub and bearing to control arm with four bolts. Be careful not to drop hub and bearing, as it could be damaged. Reconnect ABS sensor.
^ Tighten hub and bearing bolts to 70 Nm (52 lb ft).
2. Brake rotor.
3. Brake caliper.
4. Wheel and tire.
^ Tighten wheel nuts to 140 Nm (100 lb ft).
5. Lower vehicle.
