Programming and Relearning

1. Connect a scan tool to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Under the Body Control Module (BCM) Main Menu, select "Special Functions." Under the Special Functions menu, one of the choices is "New BCM Module Setup."
3. The user selects one of the following:
^ "New BCM Module Setup," (to continue with the procedure).
^ "Exit," to go back to "Special Functions" menu.
4. After the user chooses "New BCM Module Setup," the scan tool displays a screen as follows:
^ Do you want to set up a Body Control Module?
^ Press Yes to set up module.
^ Press No to Exit.
5. Choose Yes or No.
^ If the user selects No, the scan tool displays "Return to BCM Special Function Menu."
^ If the user selects Yes, the scan tool displays "Now Setting Up the New Body Control Module,"
6. Once complete, the scan tool displays "Setting Up the New Body Control Module is Done."
7. To complete the procedure, select the following:
^ Done: Go to Special Functions Menu
^ EXIT: Go to Special Functions Menu
