3 Way Catalytic Converter

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Post converter heat shIeld.
2. Oxygen sensor.
3. Support catalytic converter and cut exhaust pipe. Use J 29800 or equivalent.
4. Front exhaust pipe nuts.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Front exhaust pipe/catalytic converter assembly using a "U" bolt type clamp (position clamp so nuts are toward the driver's side of vehicle).
2. Seal.
3. Front exhaust pipe to catalytic converter nutsClamp Nuts40Nm (30 lb ft).
- Tighten nuts to 25 Nn (18 lb ft).
- Tighten clamp nuts to 40 Nm (30 lb ft).
4. Oxygen Sensor.
5. Post converter heat shield.
