Troubleshooting Hints

1. Perform the Remote Function Actuator Module Check before performing the Retained Accessory Power Diagnostic System Check. This system check will help determine if the Remote Function Actuator Module is faulty, and if other circuits are malfunctioning. Keyless Entry

2. Check Rear Bussed Electrical Center (BEC) "RDO/PH" Fuse and "SUNRF" Fuse (if equipped) by visual inspection.

3. Check I/P BEC "RFARSEN" fuse by visual inspection.

4. Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded and, if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).

5. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
