Generator (L36)

L36 Generator Mounting:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Accessory drive belt from generator.
3. Engine cover.
4. Electrical connection.
5. Generator output terminal nut.
6. Front generator support brace.
7. Generator mounting bolts.
8. Rear generator mounting brace.
9. Generator.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Generator.
2. Electrical connection.
3. Generator mounting bolts.
Tighten: Nut to 50 N.m (37 lb. ft.). Following the Sequence as in First Image.
4. Generator output terminal nut.
Tighten: Generator output terminal nut to 20 N.m (15 lb. ft.).
5. Front generator support brace.
Tighten: Bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb. ft.).
6. Rear generator mounting brace bolts.
Tighten: Bolt 30 N.m (22 lb. ft.).
7. Engine cover.
8. Accessory drive belt to generator.
9. Negative battery cable.
Tighten: Cable to 15 N.m (11 lb. ft.).
