Differential Carrier Components Assemble

1. Position the transmission so that the oil pan flange is facing down.
2. Install the sun gear shaft (689) into the differential carrier.





3. Install the internal gear thrust bearing (695) into the differential carrier. Be sure that the bearing is properly oriented.
4. Install the park gear (696).
5. Install the differential carrier sun gear (697).
- The step in the sun gear must be oriented toward the park gear.





6. Make sure that the sun gear thrust bearing (698) is installed into the differential carrier.
7. Install the differential carrier assembly (700) into the case.
