Compartment Replacement

Description:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Screws from instrument panel compartment hinge.
2. Open instrument panel compartment.
3. Press inward on both sides of instrument panel compartment housing and rotate down and out of instrument panel.

Install or Connect

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.

1. Align instrument panel compartment housing into instrument panel.
2. Press inward on both sides of instrument panel compartment housing and rotate upward and into instrument panel.
3. Hand tighten screws to instrument panel compartment hinge.
4. Align instrument panel compartment housing to instrument panel for proper fit.
5. Screws to instrument panel compartment hinge.

Tighten
^ Screws to 2 N.m (18 lb.in.).

6. Close instrument panel compartment.
