Transmitter Battery Replacement
Transmitter Battery Replacement:
Under normal use, the battery in the remote control door lock transmitter should last about two years.
You can tell the battery is weak if the transmitter won't work at the normal range in any location. If you have to get close to the vehicle before the transmitter works, it's probably time to change the battery.
Disassemble
1. Transmitter by inserting a dime or flat-bladed tool into the slot on the side of the transmitter and twist to separate the halves.
2. Battery from transmitter.
Assemble
