Antilock Brake System (ABS) and Enhanced Traction System (ETS)

The 1997 Buick Century comes with Antilock Brake System as standard equipment. The Enhanced Traction System (ETS) is standard on 1997 Buick Regal except for vehicles equipped with the supercharged 3800 engine package RPO (L67). The Antilock Brake System and the Enhanced Traction System (ABS/ETS) are both part of the same hydraulic and electric system. Both systems use many of the same components and a problem in either system may disable the other system until it is repaired.
