TCS Modulator Assembly (vehicles with TCS only)

TCS Modulator Removal:

Electronic Brake Control Module/Electronic Brake Traction Control Module:

DISASSEMBLE
1. Remove gear cover. Refer to "Gear Cover (ABS)".
2. Remove motor pack. Refer to "Brake Motor Pack (ABS)".
^ If modulator is to be replaced, install the two gears in the same location on replacement modulator. Refer to "Gear Replacement (ABS)".

IMPORTANT
^ No repair of the modulator is authorized. Replace as an assembly.


ASSEMBLE
1. With the modulator upside down, and the gears facing you, rotate each modulator gear clockwise until movement stops. This procedure will position the pistons very close to bottom of the modulator bore simplifying the brake bleeding procedure.
2. Motor pack to modulator.
3. Gear cover to modulator/motor pack assembly.
