After Repairs Test

The following procedure may be used as a system check to verify operation of the cruise control system after repairs.
1. With a scan tool, command SMCC to allow cruise.
2. Set park brake.
3. Start engine.
4. Move cruise switch to the OFF position.
5. Move cruise switch to the ON position and wait at least 3 seconds before doing next step.
6. Push set/coast switch in and hold.
7. Hold cruise switch in R/A position.
8. Fully depress and hold brake pedal.
9. After 10 seconds, release brake pedal while still holding R/A and set switches.
10. Engine RPM should increase momentarily and then return to normal.
11. Clear any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
