Balance Shaft Clean and Inspect

1. Service the balance shaft front bearing and the rear bushing as an assembly.
2. Use only the correct tools for the bushing and shaft installation.
3. Inspect the balance shaft drive gear and the camshaft drive gear for nicks and burrs.
