Install or Connect

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.

1. Instrument panel trim pad to vehicle.
2. Reposition instrument panel wiring harness.
3. Instrument panel trim pad mounting bolts/screws at cluster pocket.

Tighten
^ Bolts/screws to 5 Nm (44 lb.in.).

4. Instrument panel trim pad mounting bolts/screws at windshield.

Tighten
^ Bolts/screws to 5 Nm (44 lb.in.).

5. Instrument panel trim pad mounting bolt/screws to compartment.

Tighten
^ Bolts/screws to 2 Nm (18 lb.in.).

6. Rear compartment lid release switch.
7. Instrument panel compartment.
8. Data link connector.
9. Driver information center.
10. Fuse block.
11. Instrument cluster HUD display, if equipped.
12. Instrument cluster HUD dimmer switch, if equipped.
13. Headlamp switch.
14. Air temperature sensor, if equipped.
15. Instrument panel cluster.
16. Heater A/C control.
17. Audio system.
18. Instrument panel cluster trim plate.
19. Hood release handle.
20. Raise steering column.
21. Nuts to upper steering column.

Tighten
^ Nuts to 24 Nm (18 lb.ft.).

22. Bolts/screws to lower steering column.

Tighten
^ Bolts/screws to 24 Nm (18 lb.ft.).

23. Knee bolster bracket.
24. Steering column opening filler.
25. Front floor console, if equipped.
26. Instrument panel upper trim panel.
27. Windshield side upper garnish moldings.
28. Enable SIR system. Refer to "Disabling/Enabling the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System.
29. Instrument panel insulators.
30. RH and LH instrument panel access hole cover.
31. Carpet retainers.
32. Battery ground (negative) cable.
