Circuit Diagnosis - Cranking Circuit

Perform the following checks before removing any component of the cranking circuit for repair.
Inspect
^ Battery - Refer to Battery to determine battery condition. Battery
^ Wiring - Inspect the wiring for damage. Inspect all connections to the starter motor, solenoid, ignition switch, battery, and all ground connections. Clean and tighten connections as required.
^ Starter Solenoid and Ignition Switches - Inspect to determine their condition.
^ Starter Motor - If the battery, wiring and switches are in satisfactory condition, and the engine is known to be functioning properly, refer to "No Cranking or Slow Cranking" and proceed with diagnosis.Diagnosis By Symptom
