Front Door Contacts Rear Door When Closing (Replace Molding)
Models:
1997-2000 Buick Century, Regal
Condition
Some customers may comment that the molding at the top rear portion of the front door comes in contact with the rear door.
Cause
The black rubber portion of the reveal molding may not be staked to the molding properly which allows the molding to move backwards during closing.
Correction
Replace the molding. Refer to the Doors sub-section of Body & Accessories in the Service Manual.
