REMOVAL PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

1. Remove the power window switch.
2. Remove the trim panel plugs (located under the pull handle) in order to gain access to the screws.
3. Remove the trim panel screws.
4. Use the J 38778 in order to disengage the fasteners from the door inner panel.
5. Pull the trim panel straight oft the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Before installing the door trim panel to the door, discard the old trim panel retainers. Use new trim panel retainers in order to properly secure the trim panel to the door.

1. Install the new trim panel retainers on the trim panel.
2. Align the fasteners into the holes in the door metal.
3. Push the trim panel straight onto the door.
4. Firmly press the door panel in order to properly seat the fasteners into the holes in the inner door panel.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Install the trim panel screws.

Tighten
Tighten the inner trim panel screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

6. Install the trim panel plugs over the screws.
7. Install the power window switch.
