DTC C1355: EBTCM Internal Malfunction:

Circuit Description
This DTC identifies an internal malfunction detected by the Electronic Brake Traction Control Module (EBTCM) motor driver interface custom integrated circuit.


Conditions for Setting the DTC
DTC C1355 is set when an internal EBTCM malfunction exists.


Action Taken When the DTC Sets
A malfunction DTC is stored, TCS and Antilock Brake System (ABS) are disabled, and the amber TCS and amber ABS warning indicators are turned on.

Conditions for Clearing DTC
Condition for DTC is no longer present and the scan tool (CLEAR DTCs) function is used, or 100 drive cycles have passed with no DTCs detected.


Diagnostic Aids
DTC C1355 will be set alone. This DTC may cause unpredictable operation. The BRAKE warning indicator will be turned on if the Traction Control System (TCS) was active at the time DTC was set.
