LH Instrument Panel Trim Pad And Cross Car Beam Mounting:

Instrument Panel Trim Pad Center Mounting:

Instrument Panel Trim Pad Mounting:

Instrument Panel Trim Panel Mounting Brackets:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Instrument panel trim pad.
2. Passenger side SIR inflator module. Refer to "Disabling the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System."
3. Heater A/C module.
4. Brake pedal bracket and reinforcement.
5. Position instrument panel wiring harness out of the way.
6. Bolts/screws from cross car beam at hinge pillars.
7. Cross car beam from vehicle.

Install or Connect

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.

1. Brake pedal bracket and reinforcement.
2. Cross car beam to vehicle.
3. Bolts/screws to cross car beam at hinge pillars.

Tighten
^ Bolts/screws to 25 Nm (18 lb.ft.).

4. Bolts/screws to instrument panel trim pad to lower hinge pillars.

Tighten
^ Bolts/Screws to 20 Nm (15 lb.ft.).

5. Heater A/C module.
6. Passenger side SIR inflator module. Refer to "Disabling the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System."
7. Reposition instrument panel wiring harness.
8. Instrument panel trim pad.
