Remote Control Door Lock Transmitter

The transmitter is a hand-held device that is powered by a 3.0 volt lithium battery. Data is transmitted on an RF carrier frequency at 315 MHz. Up to four transmitter buttons control the functions of the system: "LOCK" (upper left), "UNLOCK" (upper right), "Rear Compartment" (lower right), and if equipped with a theft deterrent system, "Alarm" (lower left).

The operating range of the transmitter is 1 to 9 m (3 to 29 feet). At times a decrease in range may be noticed. This is normal for any remote lock control system. If the transmitter does not work or if you have to stand closer to the vehicle for the transmitter to work, perform the following:
^ Check to determine if battery replacement is necessary.
^ Check the distance. You may be too far from the vehicle. You may need to stand closer during rainy or snowy weather.
^ Check the location. Other vehicles or objects may be blocking the signal. Take a few steps to the left, right or hold the transmitter higher.
