Manual

SINGLE ZONE AIR TEMPERATURE CONTROLS (C60)
The LH electric actuator controls the temperature valve in front of the heater core. By varying the voltage to the electric actuator, the valve will vary the amount of heat through the heater core. The temperature control potentiometer will vary voltage between approximately 1.0-12.0 volts through circuit 1199 to the LH electric actuator. The heater and A/C control provides a ground path through circuit 1450.

DUAL ZONE AIR TEMPERATURE CONTROLS (CJ3)
The CJ3 dual zone heater and A/C control acts similar to the single zone C60 control. The LH electric actuator controls the driver temperature valve and the RH electric actuator controls the passenger temperature valve in front of the heater core. By varying the voltage to the electric actuator, the valves will vary the amount of heat through the heater core. The driver temperature control potentiometer will vary voltage between approximately 1.0-12.0 volts through circuit 1199 to the LH electric actuator. The passenger temperature control potentiometer will vary voltage similarly through circuit 1236 to the RH electric actuator.

AIR DELIVERY (Manual)
Control of air through the system is regulated by a vacuum. At various positions on the control, the mode valves, mix and direct cooled, heated and outside air through the air ducts.
