Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement

I/P Carrier:

I/P Carrier Brackets:

Instrument Panel (Buick And Oldsmobile):

I/P Trim Plate (Buick And Oldsmobile):

I/P Name Plate (Buick):

Remove or Disconnect
1. I/P cluster trim plate.
2. Air vents and grille.
3. Disable SIR system. Refer to "Disabling the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System."
4. I/P cluster trim plate.
5. I/P cluster.
6. Turn signal switch.
7. Tilt Wheel Lever.
8. Headlamp Switch.
9. Steering Wheel.
10. I/P compartment.
11. I/P valance/defroster grille.
12. Screws to I/P carrier.
13. Instrument panel.

Install or Connect
1. Instrument panel.
2. Screws to UP carrier.

Tighten
^ Instrument panel bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft)
^ Instrument panel screws to 2 Nm (17 lb ft)

3. I/P valance/defroster Grille.
4. I/P compartment.
5. Steering Wheel.
6. Headlamp switch.
7. Tilt wheel lever.
8. Turn signal switch.
9. I/P cluster and trim plate.
10. Enable SIR system. Refer to "Disabling the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System"
11. I/P cluster trim plate.
12. I/P air vents and grille.
