Oil Pressure Gauge
The engine Oil Pressure Indicator is controlled by the IPC as commanded by the PCM via serial data. The Oil Pressure Indicator will also light when the engine is running if
engine oil pressure drops below approximately 13.8 pa (2 pi). As a bulb check procedure, the PCM will command this telltale "ON" for when the IPC and PCM are powered up (ignition in "OFF/UNLOCK," "RUN, or CRANK" position) and the engine is not running.
