Dash Seal

REMOVAL
Remove or disconnect the following:
1. Rack and pinion steering assembly from vehicle.
2. Flange and steering coupling.
3. Dash seal (8) from rack and pinion housing (16).

INSTALLATION
Install or connect the following:
1. Line up notch in dash seal (8) and rack and pinion housing (16).
2. Dash seal (8) to rack and pinion housing (16). Top of dash seal should be flush or below top of housing (16).
3. Flange and steering coupling (11) to stub shaft of pinion and valve assembly.
4. Pinch bolt (10) to flange coupling (11).
^ Tighten pinch bolt (10) to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
5. Rack and pinion steering assembly into vehicle.
