Transmission Identification

All automatic transaxles have a metal identification nameplate attached to the case exterior. The information on the nameplate will assist in the servicing and determination of replacement parts when ordered through a GM Parts Catalog.





Additional transaxle identification is provided on the Service Parts Identification label. This label contains information on the regular production options (RPO) as well as standard and mandatory options. This label is affixed to the inside of each vehicle at the assembly plant.
