Reverse Servo Disassemble

1. Use a long screwdriver in order to depress the reverse band servo cover (4O) by prying against the transmission holding fixture.
2. Use a small screwdriver in order to pry out the retaining ring (39) from the reverse band servo cover.
3. Remove the long screwdriver. The servo assembly will push the servo cover (40) up.





4. Use a small screwdriver in order to pull the servo cover O-ring seal (41) out through the slot in the case.
5. Use side cutting pliers in order to cut the servo cover O-ring seal (41).
6. Use a long screwdriver in order to depress the reverse band servo cover (40) by prying against the transmission holding fixture.
7. Grasp one end of the cut seal (41) and pull it out of the servo cover.
8. Remove the long screwdriver. The servo assembly will push the servo cover (4O) up.
9. Remove the servo cover (40).





10. Remove the reverse band servo assembly (42-48).
11. Remove the reverse band servo piston spring (49).
