Ignition Key
The ignition key for vehicles which are equipped with the PASS-Key-II system consists of the following components:^ A typical square ignition key blank
^ A resistor pellet
The PASS-Key(R) II ignition key has the same mechanical key cuts as a non-PASS-Key(R) II ignition key. You can not service the key blank and resistor pellet separately. There are 15 different ignition key assemblies, each with a different key pellet resistance value.
When you service the PASS-Key(R) II system, obtain all ignition keys. Verify the proper key code values with J 35628-A Interrogator.
