Door Jamb Switch

The Universal Theft Deterrent (UTD) system uses the inputs of the front and rear door jamb switches to activate the alarm. When the UTD system is armed and the LH front door is opened (LH front door jamb switch closes) the Remote Function Actuator (RFA) module detects a ground at terminal E10 (CKT 727, DK BLU/WHT), if the RH front or rear doors are opened (switch closes) the RFA module detects a ground at terminal E12 (CKT 49, DK BLU). When the RFA module detects a ground condition at either terminal the UTD system enters the alarm mode.
