Fast Forward

The fast forward button is a non-latching momentary contact control that serves a dual function with radio preset button number 4. Pressing this button allows forward movement within the disc at a faster than normal playback rate, as long as you hold the button in.

When activated, the audio level is reduced by 6 dB. The disc plays in the forward direction at a rate of 6 times the normal speed. Elapsed time within the selected track is displayed while in the forward mode. When you release the fast forward button, the following items display:
1. The disc number
2. The elapsed time, 5 seconds later
3. The user selected default, 5 seconds later
