ALT

Use the ALT button in order to access the RDS functions. ALT displays on the screen prompting the user to make an RDS selection. If no selection is made within 20 seconds, the ALT display times out. If the radio backlighting is on and the ALT button is pressed, the radio dual function backlighting will switch in order to illuminate the RDS functions.
