Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Refer to Body Control Module for diagnostic procedures. Body Control Module
2. Check DR LKS FUSE 1 in IP Junction Block and CTSY LP/PWR MIR FUSE 6A in IP Fuse Block. If open, check for a short to ground in CKT 540 and CKT 640.
3. Check for a poor connection at ground G201.
4. Before component replacement, check for poor terminal contact at component connector and harness connector.
5. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
6. Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove good in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. Refer to Troubleshooting Procedures. Diagnostic Aids
