Setting the Automatic Day-Night Mirror Compass

First determine the correct zone location by referring to Figures 1 and 2. Display the current compass zone setting by inserting the end of a paper clip into the hole on the bottom of the mirror and pressing the calibration switch. Press and hold the switch for 5 seconds or until a zone number appears in the display. To change the current zone setting press and hold the calibration switch, until the correct zone appears, release the switch and a compass direction will be displayed within a few seconds. The zone setting will not be lost when the mirror or ignition switch is turned off. The zone requires resetting only when the vehicle is outside of the zone for which it is set.
