Seat Belt Component Description and Operation

^ The front seat belt retractor is attached to the rocker with a bolt.
^ The front seat belt guide loop is attached to the upper center pillar with a bolt.
^ The buckle end of the front seat belt is attached to the load bar assembly attached to the floor pan with a bolt.
^ The center occupant belt is attached to the floor pan on the seat rail.

The driver's seat belt system includes a seat belt switch in the driver seat buckle-side belt which controls a reminder lamp and a tone alarm.
In order to diagnose a failure of the reminder lamp or tone alarm, refer to Audible Warning in Body and Accessories.
The rear belt system includes the following components:
^ The rear center belt buckle is attached to the floor pan with a nut.
^ The latch is on the right and the buckle is on the left.
^ The rear seat shoulder belt retractor is attached to the rear window panel with a bolt.
^ The rear seat outer belt anchor is attached to the floor pan with a bolt.
