LH and RH Front Door Lock Cylinder Switches

The door lock cylinders are equipped with switches which are used to disarm the CTD system. When file CTD system is armed and a lock cylinder is turned to unlock the door (switch closes) the respective door module detects a ground input. The door module sends a message via the Simple Bus Interface (SBI) serial data line to the Driver Door Module (DDM), except for when the LH front door lock cylinder switch closes. When the DDM detects a ground input or receives a door unlocked message, it sends a door unlocked message via the class 2 serial data line to the RFA module. The RFA module receives this message and enters the standby mode. The door lock cylinder switches are serviced separately from the lock cylinder.
