Vehicle Access Code

To perform any operation, the Remote Function Actuator (RFA) module must receive a valid Vehicle Access Code (VAC) from the transmitter. If IGNI and ACCI are both in the inactive state, the RFA module turns on the vehicle interior or courtesy lamps in response to getting a valid VAC from the transmitter. The interior lamps will remain on until one of the following conditions is met:
^ A Class 2 message is received indicating at least one door is open via the door jamb switch (the interior lights will still remain on due to dome lamp switch contacts).
^ IGNI or ACCI inputs become active.
^ A lock Switch Active for all doors Class 2 message is received.
^ A Lock All Doors command is received over the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) link.
^ 15 seconds has elapsed.
