To Resume A Set Speed

Suppose you set your cruise control at a desired speed with the SET button and then you apply the brake. This is, of course, shuts off the cruise control. But you do not need to reset it. Once you're going 40 km/h (25 mph) or more, you can move the cruise control switch from ON to R/A (which stands for resume/accelerate) for about half a second. You will go right back up to your chosen speed and stay there. If you shift into park, turn the cruise control switch off, or turn the ignition off after you set a cruise control speed, you will erase the systems memory. Moving the switch to R/A will not restore the speed you set.
