Instrument Cluster EEPROM

The instrument cluster contains a data storage area which saves data even when battery power is removed. This data storage area is referred to as Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM) and is used by the instrument cluster to store odometer, option and manufacturing information. The EEPROM area is an integral part of the instrument cluster microprocessor and can not be serviced separately.
