Alarm Mode Activation

To check that the system activates the alarm mode perform the following procedure:
1. Turn off the headlights and parking lights.
2. Open a window, so that the door can be unlocked from the inside, by using the manual door lock knob.
3. Place the system in the armed mode, refer to Arming the System.
4. Reach through the window and unlock the door using the manual door lock knob.
5. Open the door. The system enters the alarm mode, the horns sound intermittently and the exterior lights flash for approximately 3 minutes. After three minutes the system shuts down automatically.
