Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. If the Personal Automotive Security System (PASS-Key(R) III) system is intermittent, check that the PASS-Key (R) III module connector is tight and terminals are clean.
2. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
3. Make sure G202 is clean and tight.
4. If the vehicle cranks, the problem is not in the PASS-Key(R) III system.
5. Check for and diagnosis other system DTC prior to PASS-Key (R) III system diagnosis.
