Transmitters (FOB)
The transmitter unit is a battery powered, water resistant, radio frequency signal generator. Two transmitters are provided with the vehicle, and each is uniquely recognized by the RFA module. The module is capable of recognizing up to four transmitters. Replacement transmitters for the vehicle may be obtained, however, the RFA module must be reprogrammed to accept the new transmitter.
The RFA systems transmitters require periodic battery replacement. Battery life under normal operation should be approximately two years. The back side of the transmitter can be removed to provide access to the battery. Refer to Transmitter Battery Replacement. Service and Repair
