Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Sensitive Parts Label:

When handling an electronic part that has an ESD sensitive sticker, refer to General Information. Follow these guidelines to reduce any possible buildup of electrostatic charge:

Not all parts that may be damaged by electrostatic discharge have an ESD sensitive sticker. For more complete information, refer to General Information.

^ Do not open the package until it is time to install the part.
^ Before removing the part from its package, ground the package to a known good ground on the vehicle.
^ Always touch a known good ground before handling the part. This should be repeated while handling the part, sliding across the seat, sitting down or getting up, or doing any walking.
