Electric Park Lock

Electric Park Lock:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Trans Fuse 24 at I/P Fuse Block.
2. Use a small screwdriver to pull out the filler plug on the bottom of the lower shroud.
3. Insert a small screwdriver into the hole and push up on the manual override of the Electric Park Lock. Turn the key to the "Lock" position and remove.
4. Do steps 1 through 9 under REMOVE OR DISCONNECT, in UPPER SHROUD/LOWER SHROUD.
5. Remove the torque screw and the black connector. Then remove the Electric Park Lock (EPL) with the small screwdriver from the lock module asm.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Install the new Electric Park Lock to the Lock Module Assembly.
2. Connect the black connector and install the one torx head screw.

Tighten
Tighten screws 1.5 Nm (13 lb in).

3. Trans Fuse 24 at I/P Fuse Block.
4. Do steps 4 through 15 under INSTALL OR CONNECT, in UPPER SHROUD/LOWER SHROUD.
